Hi.

It's hard to believe in a few days we're off on our third adventure to Bali. Before I start waxing on about the details of this next trip, let me share a little about our last trip.

Last time we headed off to Candi Dasa. This region is fairly untouched by tourists. After spending a night in Sanur, our next hotel Candi Beach Resort & Spa sent a driver who whisked us away to a relatively tourist free location in western Bali.  We spent the next few days scooting, snorkelling, and temple hopping. If you prefer to lie by the beach or pool Candi Beach Resort & Spa is a great option for that too.

The only downside to Candi Dasa is the lack of quality food options. By our last day we were sick of eating subpar food and decided to scoot to Ubud for some of our favourites - Naughty Nuri's, Babi Guling, and gluten free pastries. The food was delicious but the ride there and back was awful.

Although it is hard to complain about mediocre food (and poorly planned scooting adventures) when paradise like that pictured above is a quick flight and drive from home.  Check back soon for a more detailed guide!
